Tony will be giving two lectures this week. First, on Tuesday, November 12, Tony will give the next “Vision Talk” organized by the Dresden International PhD Program (DIPP).
“DIPP Vision Talks aim at giving insight into the research fields represented in the DIPP, they offer - from the perspective of the speaker’s expertise - a significant overview of the field, including open questions, existing resources, techniques, problems and challenges, and the possible future developments.”
Tony’s talk is titled “Why Does Biology Need Physics” and will be held at 5pm in the CRTD Auditorium in Dresden. All are welcome to attend the talk and the lively discussion that will follow.
On Thursday, November 14, Tony has been invited to give a lecture at the Bavarian State Opera (Bayerische Staatsoper) in Munich as part of a Lecture/Chamber Concert series. Tony’s talk, “Wie Vieles zu Einem wird” will focus on collectives found in biology. The lecture will be followed by a chamber concert performance.
