Where in the world is Dresden?
Thinking of applying to the Hyman lab? Wondering what life would be like in eastern Germany? Many of us (well, the non-Germans, anyway) knew almost nothing about Dresden before coming here for the first time. But we’ll let you in on a little secret: Dresden is one of Germany’s hidden gems. With about half a million people, it’s big enough that there’s plenty to see and do, and small enough that it doesn’t feel overwhelming or impersonal.
